Tickets for Good has partnered with Sofar Sounds to offer members access to intimate live music events across the UK. Sofar Sounds is a global music community that hosts live performances in small, non-traditional venues such as living rooms, rooftops, galleries, and creative spaces. Events focus on attentive audiences and stripped-back performances, creating a more personal live music experience.
Sofar Sounds began in London after founder Rafe Offer and friends wanted to create a space where live music could be properly listened to, without background noise or distractions. What started as a small living room concert has since grown into a global programme operating in over 250 cities worldwide.
Each event is locally produced, while following the same format: the venue and performers are revealed 24–36 hours before the event, encouraging discovery and supporting emerging and independent artists.
Over the years, Sofar Sounds has hosted performances from artists including Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Bastille, Wolf Alice, Olivia Dean, and Lianne La Havas, often early in their careers.
Sofar Sounds said:
"After witnessing a Soho gig drowned out by the clatter of pint glasses and the glow of screens, founder Rafe Offer and his friends hosted a living room performance where everyone listened together. That simple idea: a quiet room and a present audience, didn’t stay a London secret for long. What began as a small experiment among friends quickly spread via word of mouth. Today, Sofar thrives in more than 250 cities worldwide and counting, each shaped by the local community but grounded in the principle of focused listening and shared experience.
Partnering with Tickets for Good allows us to extend this community further, and we’re excited to welcome their members to Sofar events.”

Through this partnership, eligible Tickets for Good members can access selected Sofar Sounds events via the Tickets for Good platform. This supports Tickets for Good’s mission to make cultural experiences more accessible for people working in healthcare, education, and charities, as well as people eligible for cost-of-living payments.
Bethany Rutt, Head of Business Operations at Tickets for Good, said:
“Sofar Sounds is all about connection, discovery, and supporting local communities - values that strongly align with what we do at Tickets for Good. This partnership allows our members to experience live music in a more intimate and thoughtful way, while continuing to support artists and independent culture across the UK!”
