Welcome to the Tickets for Good community! Creating your Tickets for Good membership is the first step toward enjoying world-class live events for a fraction of the standard cost. Whether you are an NHS worker, a teacher, a charity employee/volunteer, or receiving government financial support, having an active account opens the door to top-tier music, theatre, comedy, and sports.
While joining is completely free, knowing how the platform operates behind the scenes can make all the difference. Consider this your ultimate insider guide to navigating your account, securing the best tickets, and getting maximum value out of every single booking.
Tickets for Good works directly with event organisers, promoters, and venues across the UK who donate free* or heavily discount ticket allocations for NHS members, healthcare staff, teachers, and charity workers. Because the tickets themselves are free* or heavily discounted, members only pay a small booking fee per ticket. This fee acts as our administrative charge, allowing our small team to keep operating, building new features, and securing even more events.
To start discovering gigs, musicals, and sports fixtures near you, head straight to the Tickets for Good homepage to sign up, or if you’re already a member, head to the member login portal to log into your account. To make sure you never miss a beat, use these expert TFG tips straight from our team.
Ticket allocations land on the platform unpredictably as venue partners release inventory. As Alex, our Global Head of Communications, recommends:
"With loads of new events popping up every day, I recommend ensuring that you're opted in for marketing in your profile settings. We send out regular emails with new events in your area, and tickets sell out quickly for our hottest shows."
Inside your account under User details, check the email preferences section to make sure you are opted-in to receiving marketing updates. By opting in, you’ll be the first to hear about the latest events and last-minute deals — ensuring you don't miss out when limited spots get snapped up fast!
While you’re in your profile settings, take a moment to complete the About you section. Here, you can select your favourite event genres and set your preferred regional locations. Filling this out ensures we can tailor alerts specifically to your tastes and local area, helping you discover relevant events before anyone else.
Finally, when browsing the platform directly, make smart use of our search sorting tools:
You do not have to attend events alone!
Amelia, our Marketing Lead, notes: "Bring a friend along! Maybe you know someone who needs cheering up or you're looking for something low-cost to do together. Almost all of our events allow you to purchase more than one ticket, and your guests don't have to have a Tickets for Good account or be eligible for one."
Working in education or healthcare can be demanding, and live events offer a fantastic mental reset. Lily, Client Account and Growth Executive, advises: "Be spontaneous! TFG often has incredible offers available at the last minute. Live events have a great positive effect on mental and emotional health, so if you feel stuck in a rut and you feel able to, try doing something on a whim."
Because you only pay a small booking fee, the platform provides a risk-free way to broaden your cultural horizons. Jess, Head of Global Ticketing Operations, highlights: "When opportunity arises, try something new—something you have never tried before that may lead to a newfound love. TFG provides a low-cost option to attend an event you may have assumed isn’t ‘your thing’. How do you know if you don’t try? Give it a go!"
Our community extends far beyond the main website. Natalya, Marketing Manager, shares: "Connect with other people in the Tickets for Good community! There are so many like-minded people, new event friends, and colleagues who are using the platform. We have private Facebook groups for different sectors where you can share photos, experiences, and make new friends!"
You can join sector-specific Facebook groups for NHS staff, Teachers, Charity workers, and The Ticket Bank, or follow our main channels on Instagram, and Facebook.
Your event photos and reviews directly influence the future of the platform. Beth, Head of Business Operations, explains: "Please ALWAYS let us know about your experiences! We want to know how your first festival went or what you thought about that comedy gig. It really makes our day to see you have a brilliant time, AND it helps us improve. The platform is built upon your feedback, and taking advantage of times when we ask for photos helps us prove our impact to venues so we can grow!"
To ensure your event day goes smoothly, always review your booking confirmation email carefully:
Keeping your account verified ensures seamless access to ticket drops. We currently support four primary eligible groups:
Divanshi from Event & Ticketing Operations reminds members: "Feeling stuck with ticket access or unsure about your eligibility? Don’t worry! Our Help Centre is packed with quick answers. And if you’re still unsure, our Customer Support team is just a message away, always happy to help." You can access dedicated assistance via our Tickets for Good support page.
Due to strict agreements with our partner venues and for member security, tickets are linked directly to your account. The account holder must be present at the event with their guest. Tickets cannot be passed to someone else, transferred, or re-sold.
When an event sells out on our site, an "option to join waitlist" button will appear where the booking button normally sits. Joining the waitlist includes you on an automatic email notification list if the venue releases extra tickets. Notifications operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because tickets are donated for specific performance dates, they cannot be exchanged or swapped. If alternative dates are available on our site, you can browse and book them if extra tickets remain in stock.
