We believe that live events, music, and culture have the power to inspire young people, broaden horizons, and build a sense of community. With this in mind, for Q4, US impact fees collected through Tickets for Good will be donated directly to the LAUSD Education Foundation (LAEF), supporting a new joint project launching in 2027 to subsidize ticket fees for local students facing financial hardship.

‍

‍

‍

‍

The LAUSD Education Foundation serves as the essential bridge connecting private philanthropy directly to the over 400,000 students of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Operating as an independent nonprofit deeply aligned with district leadership, LAEF drives equity and opportunity across LAUSD by funding targeted programs, expanding arts and music access, and connecting schools with LA’s world-class cultural institutions.

‍

‍

‍

‍

From providing urgent student relief through their Compassion Fund to building long-term initiatives in arts, innovation, and career pathways, LAEF ensures that every student has the resources they need to thrive. Connecting classroom learning with real-world cultural experiences is a natural extension of their mission, and one we are deeply proud to support.

How Tickets for Good works with the education community

‍

‍

‍

‍

‍

‍‍

Through our ongoing work across the education sector, Tickets for Good is committed to breaking down financial barriers so that students, teachers, and school staff can experience the transformative power of live events.

‍

‍

‍

‍

Tickets for Good exists to say thank you to educators, school staff, and community leaders who give their time and energy to others every day. By partnering with LAEF, we are extending this mission directly to the classroom – ensuring that young people, regardless of their financial circumstances, can access live music, sports, theatre, and cultural experiences across Los Angeles.

What the impact fee supports

‍

‍

‍

‍

‍

‍When members book tickets through Tickets for Good, they have the option to add a small impact fee at checkout. This optional contribution helps us support charitable initiatives and community partnerships that reflect our core mission to make live events more accessible and inclusive.

‍

‍

‍

‍

‍

This quarter, funds raised through US impact fees will go directly toward funding our upcoming 2027 joint project with LAEF. This initiative will subsidize ticket fees for local LAUSD students experiencing financial hardship, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to attending live events that inspire creativity and personal growth.
