This week we announced our API integration with AXS in the UK.
Although this might seem like a purely technical update, we think it reflects something bigger happening across the industry.
There has been a clear and welcome focus recently on improving the experience for ticket buyers across the board. That means smoother journeys, less friction and more secure systems. This integration makes it significantly easier for venues, promoters and management teams using AXS to allocate ticket inventory directly to Tickets for Good.
For our members, it means a more reliable and consistent experience accessing tickets and for our fantastic ticket donors, the API removes manual processes, reduces administration and ensures allocation happens in a structured, secure way.
If social impact is going to scale across live events, it has to work operationally. This has always been a key theme at Tickets for Good. Through this partnership, AXS clients will be able to connect live events more seamlessly with NHS staff, teachers, charity workers, volunteers and those most affected by the Cost of Living, without adding operational complexity.
Alongside strengthening infrastructure, we are continuing to develop our work around mapping and evidencing the wellbeing and community impact of live events. Better systems and cleaner data support that research, and we look forward to sharing more on that later this year.
If you are an AXS client and would like to explore how the integration will work in practice, we would be very happy to speak, please contact our partnerships team.
