The Cultural Passport is Newham’s new gateway to high‑quality cultural experiences and creative opportunities for residents. It provides access to free* and discounted tickets for inspiring events — including theatre, live performance, exhibitions, family‑friendly activities and cultural festivals.
To deliver this offer, Newham Council has partnered with The Ticket Bank, a national scheme that redistributes unused cultural tickets to communities who need better access. Together, we’re opening up opportunities that many people in Newham might not otherwise experience, helping them build confidence, curiosity and a stronger connection to the cultural world.
Newham is full of talent and potential. The Cultural Passport helps people explore it, enjoy it and imagine new possibilities for their future.

We work with Tickets for Good to redistribute spare tickets through a trusted network of event organisers, promoters and venues.
These are seats that would otherwise go empty, now made available to people who could really use a moment to enjoy a show, check out their favourite band or enjoy a sporting moment with family and friends.
The Ticket Bank is open to people receiving government benefits and to those referred by our bridge-partners, including local councils, food banks, housing services and charities.
Once you are signed up, you can book directly through the platform. It is simple, quick and easy to use.
We have separate platforms for people working in healthcare, charity, education or as a volunteer.

Venues and event organisers share spare or unused tickets through Ticket Bank.
Working with Newham Council, these tickets are offered to residents through the Cultural Passport.
